CHARLOTTE – NICE
Depart from Charlotte Int’l Airport to Frankfurt Germany to change for your flight to Nice.

May 27                  
NICE (D)
Late morning arrival at Nice Int’l Airport. Short drive will take us to Nice city-center where we check into our hotel. Time to relax and freshen up before a local guide give us a sightseeing tour showing the highlights of the city like the famous Promenade des Anglais.  Welcome dinner at the hotel. Performance.

May 28                  
NICE – MONACO – NICE (B)
Full day excursion as we take the high coastal way over to Monaco. The coastal way gives a fantastic view over the Riviera. Upon arrival a local guide will us the highlights of the Monaco . We return to Nice for a free evening.

May 29                  
NICE – CINQUE TERRE (B,D)
We enter into Italy as we heading east along the coast. Stop in Genua, the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. We discover the Old Town before we continue to Cinque Terre, a rugged coast line with its 5 beautiful villages. Dinner at the hotel.

May 30                  
CINQUE TERRE (B)
A whole day at leisure to discover the beauty of the area. Why not take the boat to one of the other villages, or take the train or walk to the next village.

May 31                  
CINQUE TERRE – PISA – LUCCA (B,D)
Leaving for the city of Pisa to see the famous Leaning Tower. Individual sightseeing before we continue to Lucca in time for the dinner. Performance

Jun 01                  
LUCCA – FLORENCE – LUCCA (B)
We take the train into Florence, where we will be met by a local guide who will show us the highlight of the city. We visit the Accademia. Individual sightseeing before we take the train back to Montecatini for a free evening.

Jun 02                   
LUCCA – SIENA – ROME (B,D)
First stop today will be Siena, where we will see the Piazza del Campo in the Old Town. It’s on this square where they have the Il Palio, the horse race which is held twice per year.  We continue south to the capital of Italy, Rome. A local guide will give us a city tour showing the highlights of the city. Included in the tour is a visit to the Vatican Museum and St Paul’s Cathedral. Dinner at our hotel

ROME (B)
A full day for individual sightseeing. Evening performance

Jun 04                   
ROME – POMPEII – SORRENTO (B,D)
Heading south to Pompeii where we will be met by a local guide. Pompeii, an ancient Roman town, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, were mostly destroyed and buried under 13 to 20 ft of ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After our visit we continue to our hotel in Sorrento in time for dinner.

Jun 05                  
SORRENTO – AMALFI – SORRENTO (B)
During our excursion today will take a drive on the Amalfi Coastal way. We make of course a stop in the city of Amalfi, which is the heart of this magnificent Italian coastline and a must-see city. Upon our return to Sorrento, we will have a free evening.

Jun 06                   
SORRENTO – CAPRI – NAPLES (B,D)
The excursion today will take us to the Island of Capri, where a local guide will take care of us during the stay on the island. We continue to Naples in time for the farewell dinner at the hotel.

Jun 07                   
NAPLES – U.S.A
Morning transfer to Naples Int’l Airport in time for our return flight back to the US via Frankfurt.
